Dubai airport

Right now I am sitting Dubai airport and I am half way to Lanzhou. The reality of my placement in China has now sunk in after months of build-up. I am feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement as I have no idea what Lanzhou will be like. I am also feeling a bit hungry and my original idea of filling my bag with chocolate is not looking quite as smart now!
